Metamorphosis
Tiredness.
A heartbeat; the fastest I'd heard.
A pukish feeling.
Shudders, substantiated.
A small 'plus' sign on a stick
At long last
Announcements
Unadulterated happiness
A heartbeat; the fastest I'd heard.
A speck of life.
A movement.
Gone too soon...
Shouldn't have blinked.
A bump.
New garments.
People notice.
Personal questions.
A lot of good faith
And love.
Whacky dream,
No sleep.
A craving; fulfilled.
Some pain, and gone.
Swollen feet, dizzy head, and pimples.
Oh, a kick... Was it?
Could be a dance.
Need sleep.
Time rushed by...
Sweat. Panic. Helplessness.
There is an irrationality, fatality, finality
In that moment.
Rush. Pain. Pressure.
Desperation and impatience,
outside
Inside,
A push,
Another,
And another.
Violent screams turn into a haunting quiet.
A whack on the back,
A cry,
A story begins.
I really like the last line :)
