here's a poem for you,
for your unending persistence,
presence, even confidence
in our friendship.

for your short-lived madness,
the hellish hot mess
that you are,
collectively with your mane.

for your vigour and verve
and the maddening nerve
with which you hang on
to every last bit of loss,
before calling it that.




for Aashay Nigde, who has grown so much in the time that i have known him.
